The ISFTA Rehab Fitness Specialist course is designed to teach Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Massage Therapists, Chiropractors and others in the medical field how to transition a patient from a rehab setting to a post-rehab fitness program. During this live workshop, therapists will learn how to integrate various concepts of fitness and the physiological impact of dynamic movement to their treatment programs. Anatomy, physiology and kinesiology are examined in depth to provide a greater understanding of the body. It also prepares the therapist to provide a more comprehensive home exercise program that is more appropriate to higher level patients. This is an interactive course in which very little time will be spent at a desk but rather practicing techniques that can be brought back to the clinical setting for use.
As a bonus, upon completion of the course, the therapist will receive a voucher of eligibility to sit for the ISFTA Certified Personal Trainer Exam without having to attend the course at a discounted exam fee of $99.00. Those who decide to utilize the voucher and pass the exam will receive a certificate identifying them as a Certified Personal Trainer.
To redeem your ISFTA Certified Personal Trainer voucher simply visit the ISFTA Store, or choose “With CPT Voucher” in the drop down menu on the course registration page before checkout.
